An independent studio
Genuinely independent: nobody changes the rules on us, so nobody changes them on you
The page you are reading was written by hand: PHP, no frameworks, no npm, no build step. It goes up over FTP and it works. There is no platform underneath it, and where there is no platform there is nobody to raise the fee or rewrite the terms halfway through.
Self-hosted analytics, no third parties
The analytics are ours: no tracking cookies, no third-party JavaScript and no Google Analytics. Your IP never leaves the server, and the fonts are hosted here: the page does not fetch a single file from anyone else's domain.
Sometimes the money is ours
There is no price list, just three ends of a range: a fixed price, a share of the sales, or co-production. Co-production means the studio pays for the project.
What leaves here is yours
The code and the content belong to the client, and they are portable: nothing is locked in. On the publishing side the author keeps every right. We do not buy the intellectual property, we do not appear as authors, and we do not ask for exclusivity on whatever you write next.
We tell you what we cannot do
Cheaper for everyone than finding out halfway through. What we do take on is agreed in writing before it starts, revision rounds included, and the invoice says the same thing.
